| Our opinion: ***UPDATE: This pub used to be rated a 5 but has dropped to a 3 due to consistent overcharging. They do not use computer printed receipts and apparently the staff feel that is a license to rip off any foreigner. On repeated visits we have been overcharged as much as 1000 CZK. When confronted, they denied it. After waiting 20 minutes for the manager and threatening to get the police they finally reduced our bill. Out of pure frustration we suggest you go somewhere else. This used to be one of our favorites because they serve a great pilsner. If you go here, keep your own tab in front of you and compare the final price with a menu and don't be afraid to dispute the total given to you. This problem seems to have affected their sister pub U Zeleneho Stromu as well. Too bad. |
